I don't use any desktop software nowadays; I can easily get everything I need done using cloud software.
That said, Ledgerscope and Movemybooks both interact with Sage and QuickBooks desktop software, so I have to get my hands dirty with those occasionally, for development purposes and testing. And it's often a real reminder of how frustrating it was in the "old world".
