When I re tweeted a sales message from Sage, with my very short response indicating that I thought their claim was equivocal I did not expect a reply.
Perhaps the reply was an automated one, set to trigger with any re-tweet and attempt to gain more exposure for the original message, I don't know; but I duly provided my thoughts.
Yes, as the provider of a software service which converts Sage accounts data to Xero, I am "slightly biased" but, as I pointed out, I have not been a fan of Sage since QuickBooks came along in the early nineties and showed what a poor product Sage 50 is by comparison. Newer, cloud-based solutions have come along in more recent times and only hardened my opinion.
The question I posed in my final tweet was rhetorical but, since Sage started the conversation, it would have been nice to get an answer.
